A program provided for victims of violence, youth at risk, runaways, and those with a need to have somone believe in them.
When I work out, I usualy listen to some inspirational music to keep me going and then use that inspiration to get me to the finish line.
It's Mine - I Earned it!!! Challenge
All ages can participate, but if the child is younger than 5, the parent or legal guardian must ride with the child in a bike seat. Aditional rules may apply (see each ride's web site for their safety rules). Fullfilment of all these benefits to all participants depends on available funds from donations.
Entry fees to the rides are not covered but the program does include:
Pasta dinner the night before the ride (you'll need the carbs)
Hydration product during the ride
A bike you get to keep
Breakfast the morning of workouts
Finisher's medal for rides over 30 miles
Pictures of you on your ride
Helmet
Workouts at the University of Houston (see U of H rules) - 1st visit to the gym are paid for and additional visits need to be paid by the participant. Please visit the__U of H web site to see fees.
Intermediate workouts (>18 years old) - ride with me and my cycling group on Saturday mornings (45 mile ride at 18-20 mph)
This form must be filled out by the parent or legal guardian of the child that is to enter this challenge. If you are 18 year old or older, you can fill in your information. This form is to be used to sign up for the It's mine - I Earned it Challenge.
